I have a story to share with you.

 

Around fifty years ago a young man of 7, entered the ring for the very first time. He was handling an Irish Setter puppy his family bred. All was fine until it was his turn in front of the judge.

 

Anxiety set in, the young boy started to cry, he handed the puppy’s leash to the judge and ran out of the ring.

 

Fifty years later,  the same little boy now has over eight hundred best in show wins, has handled numerous top winning dogs including four number one all breed and in 2015 he handled the beagle “Miss P” to the ultimate title of Best in Show at Westminster Kennel Club.

 

That little boy was me, I shared my story to explain, we all start somewhere.

 

Now I'm retired from professional handling and am embarking on a judging career. Along with trying my best to educate, and I still continue to learn. 

I hope to offer educational and fun content that will hopefully help you to continue to learn and succeed in the sport of purebred dogs.
